Mercredi, nous avons eu une entrevue à Phare FM. Les gens là sont trop sympa 
Après l’entrevue radio, nous avons quitté pour nous rendre au Péage du Roussillon. Nous avions une pratique avec les musiciens pour le grand concert de Radio-Essentiel samedi à Lyon. C’était incroyable de revoir les musiciens. Ils ont aussi joué avec nous lors de notre dernière tournée en mai. Malheureusement, je n’ai pas de photos cette fois-ci. J’ai quelques vidéos mais ceux-là sont trop gros pour afficher! C’était cool comment nous nous sommes réhabitués à jouer ensemble.
Voici une photo de la maison où nous sommes restées. Notre hôte, Mado, était trop cute! Elle me rappel beaucoup ma grand-mère et elle peut vraiment bien cuisiner. Elle cuisine en bibitte à tous les fois qu’elle est dans la cuisine! Jeudi matin, elle m’a emmené au marché où nous avons trouvé pleins de choses en vente. C’était dommage qu’on soit arrivé à la fin parce que ça terminait vers midi. Tant pis. Voici une des choses qu’on a trouvées au marché; le marchand était tellement excité quand il a su que je venais du Canada… lol, c’était hystérique. Il m’a dit combien il aimait écouter les émissions sur le Canada (hmm… je me demande bien lesquels…!?) et qu’il aime les voiture américaines… ! (LOL!)
Voici la vue de ma chambre. Une belle vue, non? Nous avons eu une autre pratique avec les musiciens cette soirée aussi. Puis, vendredi Mado nous a préparée une paella. C’était tellement bon. YUM. Elle a déjà eu un restaurant; est-ce que ça paraît??
Nous avons pris congé vendredi pour se préparer pour notre gros concert samedi. Nous nous sommes réveillées très de bonne heure samedi matin et nous avons conduit du Péage jusqu’à Lyon (environ 1 heure de route). Voici une photo de notre bassiste Jérémie. Malheureusement, je n’ai pas pris de photo de Willy notre batteur ni de Greg notre guitariste… tant pis, la prochaine fois. En passant, je n’avais aucune idée que la météo en France était comme la notre… j’avais un manteau de cuir et un pull à capuchon la plupart du temps et rendu à mercredi, j’étais tellement malade! Si tu regarde Jérémie de près, tu peux remarquer qu’il conduit avec un t-shirt (!) et des gants (!) LOL!
Nous sommes arrivés à l’église à Lyon et avons eu notre balance de son, notre dîner et plus de pratique! Ensuite, nous avons eu un spectacle incroyable! La place était en feu cette soirée-là. La réponse était incroyable! Nous voyions vraiment tout le travail qui a été fait pour que tout se déroule bien! Notre partenaire Radio-Essentiel a fait un excellent travail!!
Dimanche, nous avons partagé quelques chansons pendant le culte et nous avons fait la plupart des chansons en style acoustique. La dynamique était différente de la soirée auparavant mais nous avons eu un bon retour et le style se mariait bien à l’ambiance. Après le culte et le dîner, nous avons quitté pour prendre le TGV pour retourner à Paris. Notre tournée était officiellement terminée. Maintenant, il s’agissait de retourner à Paris et puis de quitter le matin suivant pour retourner à Montréal! Nous avons réussi à réserver des billets de train sur Internet (malgré la grève!) et nous avons rencontré pleins de personnes intéressantes sur notre voyage de retour - notre chauffeur de taxi, le conducteur de la navette de l’aéroport et nos voisins sur le vol. Il faut absolument nous demander l’histoire de comment nous avons eu notre taxi… lol!
Alors c’est tous les amis. Notre tournée de France de dix jours, version 2.0

On Wednesday, we had a radio interview with Phare FM. The people there were trop sympa.
After the radio interview, we left to go to le Péage de Roussillon. We had a practice with the musicians for the big Radio-Essentiel show on saturday in Lyon. It was awesome seeing the guys again. They also played with us in our last tour in May. Unfortunately no photos of them this time. I do have videos but then these files are too huge to send! It was cool how we got back into the groove of playing together.
Here is a picture is the house we stayed at. Our hostess, Mado, was way too cute! She reminds me very much of my grandmother, and boy can she cook. She cooks up a storm every time she’s in the kitchen! On Thursday morning, she took me to go to the market where we found all sorts of stuff for sale. It was too bad that we only caught the tail-end of it, because it ended around noon. Oh well. Here is one of the things that we found in the market; the guy there was so excited when he found out that I came from Canada…. lol, it was hysterical. He told me how much he enjoyed watching TV shows about Canada (gee… i wonder what kind….!?) and he loved American cars…. ! (LOL!)
Here is the view from my window. Nice view eh? We also had another practice with the musicians that evening too. The fourth picture was taken on Friday, when Mado whipped up paella. It was so good. YUM. She used to have her own restaurant, can you tell??
We decided to have friday off so we prepared ourselves for the big show Saturday. We woke up bright and early saturday morning and drove from Péage to Lyon (1 hour away) - here is a picture of our bassist Jérémie. Unfortunately I didn’t take any other photos of Willy our drummer and Greg our guitarist…. oh well next time. N.B.: I had no idea that France weather was like ours… I had a leather jacket and a hoody most of the time and by Wednesday I was so sick! If you look closely at Jérémie, you’ll notice that he is driving in a T-shirt (!) and gloves (!) LOL!
We got to the church in Lyon and had our soundcheck, lunch and more practice! Then had an awesome show! The place was rockin’ that night. The response was awesome! We could really tell all the hard work that went into making everything work well! Our sponsor Radio-Essentiel did an excellent job!!
On Sunday we shared a couple of songs during the service and did most of the songs acoustic. The dynamic was different than that of the night before, but we received a good response and the style fit the mood! After the service and lunch, we left to go take the TGV back to Paris. Our tour was officially over. Now it was a matter of getting back to Paris and then to leave the next morning back to MTL! We managed to get a train online (despite the strike!) and met all sorts of interesting people on our trip heading back, including our taxi driver, our airport shuttle bus driver and our flight neighbors- you have to ask for the story about how we got our taxi…. lol!
So that’s it folks. Our 10 day tour in France version 2.0
